Now let's have a look at connecting the probe to the Sera™.
The probe needs to be connected to the device before use.
There are small metal pins inside the probe connector and also inside the device connector.
It's very important that these are lined up prior to insertion.
You can see there is a small black dot here and one here.
Make sure that you line these up and then gently push together.
Do not twist during connection because this will break the pins.
The probe connector is delicate, and you should handle it with care, when connecting the probe to the Sera™. This video shows you how to do it correctly without breaking the pins in the connector.
