The insert phones (transducer boxes, cables, tubes and adapters) can be wiped down with a damp cloth and a disinfectant wipe after use.
Be careful that no fluid enters into the adapters or sensitive areas.
Step 1: Remove the insert earphone adapters.
Step 2: Wipe down the adapters.
If an eartip adapter is contaminated with earwax or debris inside the adapter, use the eartip adapter cleaning brush to remove the debris. If desired, clean the adapter in an ultrasonic bath. The adapter can be replaced, as needed.
Step 3: Wipe down the tubes.
Examine the tubes periodically for any cracks in the tubing. Replace a cracked tube with a new one.
Step 4: Wipe down the transducer boxes and cable as needed.
Step 5: Assemble the adapters again.
Notice:
Before reuse: The insert earphone components should be completely dry before reuse.
Accessories: If necessary, replace the tubes and adapters.
Tube length is critical to stimulus calibration. Do not modify the length of the tubing in any way.
