After an excellent EUHA 2024 congress in Hannover, where we were excited to meet with colleagues and partners in person, we already have our eyes peeled toward the EUHA 2025 congress in Nuremberg, October 22-24.
Stay tuned for updates as we approach EUHA 2025. And in the meantime, make sure to check out our highlights from the previous congresses below!
Check out what we brought to EUHA 2024 below.
At EUHA 2023, we launched the game-changing and award-winning Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT) test that addresses the number one complaint of people with hearing loss: Hearing conversations in noisy environments. Hearing aid fitting software for selected hearing aids from Philips, Oticon, Bernafon, and Sonic will automatically set the best help-in-noise settings based on the result of the ACT test – the ACT value.
ACT was again a central theme at EUHA 2024, including booth talks and lots of interest in this – still relatively new – test.

At EUHA 2024, we were excited to introduce the Aided Cortical module for the Interacoustics Eclipse, which makes it possible to objectively and reliably validate hearing aid or cochlear implant fitting in infants or patients with complex needs who cannot subjectively respond.
Clinicians can use the outcome of the test to counsel their patient’s family – offering much needed reassurance – and make informed adjustments to the hearing device settings.
The Aided Cortical module also includes the ManU-IRU stimuli, developed by the Interacoustics Research Unit (IRU) in collaboration with Manchester University.

The Interacoustics Academy have a couple of online opportunities to learn more about aided cortical testing.
On day 2 of 2024's Trends in Pediatrics, Amanda Goodhew, BSc (Hons) MSc Audiology, and Michael East, MSc Clinical Science, discussed the importance of pediatric hearing aid validation and the options available for performing validation for different pediatric age ranges.
Their session is available as an on-demand course, which you can access here: Validation in pediatric hearing aids
By the end of the course, you'll know:
*Including a sneak peak of the Eclipse Aided Cortical module.
On February 13, 2025, Amanda Goodhew will host an eWorkshop on aided cortical testing. This eWorkshop will explore advanced topics relating to aided cortical testing, with a particular focus on the pediatric application of the test. This course will consider how to use the objective tools available to aid interpretation of aided cortical waveforms.
Case studies will be used to demonstrate how to formulate the most suitable testing strategy for each individual patient. Complex testing scenarios, such as cochlear implant patients, will be discussed with suggestions for alterations to test technique and strategy to support obtaining accurate results.
Learning objectives:
When? February 13, 10.00-11.30 / 16.00-17.30 CET (identical sessions to cater for time zone differences).
In addition to ACT, check out what else we brought to EUHA 2023 below.
In early 2023, we were delighted to announce our Audiometer Keyboard, which combines the benefits of PC-based audiometry with the familiarity of a standalone audiometer.
With its quiet, ergonomic, and hygienic design and customizable keys, you can:
Available with Interacoustics’ Affinity Compact, Affinity, and Equinox.
Check out what we brought to EUHA 2022 below.
Have you considered the benefits of adding automated audiometry to your clinic?
With IA-AMTAS, your clients can perform audiometry on their own, while you attend to more important tasks at the same time.
Looking for an easy and consistent way to insert the probe tube for real-ear measurements?
Then we suggest going the route of a probe placement tool – Affinity Compact’s Probe Placement Indicator to be more specific. Based on machine learning, it shows insertion depth in real time, and provides a visible and audible signal when you’ve inserted the probe tube at the correct depth.
Does your brand offer hearing aid fitting across several sites?
With the Affinity Compact's Quality Assurance Indicators, you can tailor 13 audiometry and 9 real-ear measurement indicators to your organization's protocols. The Affinity Suite will then track if the expected workflow is followed and provide live feedback to the hearing care professional.
This helps to mandate your testing quality throughout your stores, and your customers will be receiving the same high-quality treatment wherever they seek help from your brand.
