Course: Wideband Tympanometry for Beginners

Description
This course introduces you wideband tympanometry. It will explore the limitations of traditional 226Hz tympanometry and highlight why wideband tympanometry is a superior measurement technique. It will focus on the different components which can be measured by wideband tympanometry including absorbance, the wideband average tympanogram and the 3D tympanogram.
Learning Objectives
- Develop a theoretical understanding of wideband tympanometry and its clinical benefits
- Explore the different components of a wideband tympanometry measurement, including tympanograms, resonance frequency and absorbance
- Be able to interpret the results of a wideband tympanometry measurement
