The VRA Pure is an add-on to the VRA family. This version is software-based which means there is no need for any extra hardware when ordering the VRA Pure. You can install the VRA Pure software on your clinic's own PC. This makes it possible for you to operate both the PC audiometer and the VRA Pure at the same time.
All you need to do is connect the number of screens that you want in the booth directly to your clinic PC. You can connect up to three screens depending on the number of available ports in the PC.
When opening the VRA Pure software, you can create your own playlists with content from your own PC or you can use the default playlists also known from the VRA Screen solution. You'll find the default playlist in the VRA media folder on the left-hand side of the screen. Below that, the content of the PC will be available for you to choose from.
Drag and drop images and videos between the playlists to arrange them the way you want or change the order in which to play them like this. Use the arrows to change the order of your content. If you want to change the duration in which each video is being played, you can do that by changing the time here.
Change the name of each playlist as you wish.
In the top right part of the screen, you will find the settings where you can choose left, right or center screen. You can set the audio output. If you have a speaker connected to the screens, you can adjust the video volume or you can mute the videos entirely if you don't want sound to play. When you are using the keyboard to do audiometry, you can activate the screen without moving your hands from the keyboard.
When you are happy with the content of the playlists, press the play button. You are now ready to play your chosen content.
Use a click of the mouse on left and right to activate the left and right screens. You can choose which video should play next and you can switch between the playlists.
Now move back to the software suite where you perform the audiometry and use keyboard shortcuts. This way, you can keep your hands on the keyboard.
